Good Morning Everyone!
I took a little bit of a break from posting to finish up a script I plan on shooting this summer and prepare for a very special documentary I will be directing in the coming weeks. As soon as the details are finalized, I will be sharing the project with you.
We’re now officially 10 days away from the launch of Thrash Labs Rituals. Keep tuning in and watch your favorite artists, bands, creators and innovators. If there is every a subject that you think would be awesome to watch, share your thoughts on my message board, as I will follow up on them.
I’ve also booked a great big popular venue in july for my next art showing. The pieces will be large and showcase a little bit of the Los Angeles underground party circuit. I’m really excited to share my new work soon!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are all ready for the week. Go for your dreams!
While some of you may not be able to see it, I should let you know that my art exhibit at The Vintage Conservatory in Toronto starts tonight through May 16, 2012. But don’t worry, I’m preparing a show in Los Angeles for the month of May.
I’ve been inspired walking the streets here. I love the mixed-culture and watching people, so I’ve decided to add 4 more pieces to the exhibit tonight (see one included below).
If you’re interested in Canadian films, tune in to Télé-Québec for “Kamataki” tonight:
I just read in ‘What’s AGO: what’s on art gallery of ontario’ that 147 masterpieces from the Picasso museum in Paris are going to be shown from May 1 – August 25 with pre-showings, April 27, 28 & 29. I really wish I was in the city longer, as it would be a joy to see his works outside of Paris. Whenever I’m in France, I always make an effort to visit the Picasso Museum, as it always fuels my creativity.
Today, I spent a majority of the day walking around the streets of Toronto. It was a beautiful sunny day and the perfect time to visit the various art galleries to see what emerging artists were producing. I liked some of the pieces I saw at the Blue Dot Gallery. There were two amazing sculptures that I would die to own one day.
At 11pm, I visited the private wine lounge where I am hosting my exhibit on Tuesday night at The Vintage Conservatory. It was a pleasure chatting with the members and seeing my work with the night lighting. I’m really looking forward to the party next week. It will be a blast.
Here are two sneaks peaks of some pieces that are going to be included in the exhibit. I will be adding 4 more pieces:
Happy Easter Sunday !
My pieces on route from Los Angeles to Toronto. Get ready Canada!
